Kentucky Buck

This sweet bourbon cocktail is perfect for summer and an absolute favorite of the Toastworthy staff. The Kentucky Buck is a must try!

Ingredients

Serves One

1 fresh strawberry

2 ounce of whiskey or bourbon

3/4 ounce of fresh lemon juice

1/4 ounce of simple syrup

2 dashes of bitters

Top off with ginger beer

How To Mix

Place your fresh strawberry in the base of a cocktail shaker. Add the lemon juice, bourbon, simple syrup and bitters in the cocktail shaker and muddle together.

Add ice to the cocktail shaker and shake for twenty seconds. Strain into a rocks or Collins glass with ice. Top off with ginger beer. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a slice of strawberry.
